Teghenis mountain

0-210Teghenis mountain is the highest peak of the Tsaghkunyans Mountain Range 2851m. The northern slope has a weak incline, the southern slope has a sharp incline, is rocky and fragmented. Up to 2300-2401m the slopes are wooded then they are mountainous. It starts from the central part of the Pambak mountain range and stretches south-east, dividing two main branches, eastern and southern, between which is located the valley of the Dalar river, Aghveran. It divides Kasakh and Hrazdan basins. The outer slopes have mild inclines, with a large number of hills and several large valleys. The Dalar, Ara, Marmarik, Hrazdan and Kasagh rivers all begin from the slopes of the Tsaghkunyats mountain range.
